• Lead and develop a seasoned accounting team while strengthening internal controls Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller: • Manage and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis, and key balance sheet accounts
• Ensure consistent application of U.S. GAAP across multiple legal entities
• Serve as internal owner of all tax matters, coordinating with external advisors
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors and support audit deliverables
• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the accounting team Qualifications for the Assistant Controller: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in multi-entity U.S. operations
• Proven experience with sales & use tax across multiple U.S. jurisdictions
• Background in transportation, logistics, fleet-based, or services environments
