Client Service Coordinator

We are seeking a Client Service Coordinator to join a fast paced, team oriented industrial manufacturing environment in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Client Service Coordinator, you will manage and respond to customer requests via phone and email, provide timely status updates, and address product related questions with confidence and professionalism. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams-including sales, engineering, and production-to ensure customers receive accurate information and a seamless experience from order placement through delivery.
Primary Duties
- Serve as the main point of contact for B2B customers, demonstrating strong business to business customer service experience.
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and CRM systems with urgency and accuracy.
- Provide detailed order status updates, lead time information, and product knowledge as a Client Service Coordinator.
- Work cross functionally with internal departments to resolve issues, clarify specifications, and support customer needs.
- Utilize Salesforce (preferred) or similar CRM tools to manage customer interactions, track communication, and maintain organized records.
- Support sales and account management teams by identifying customer needs and ensuring a smooth flow of information.
- Maintain a team focused, solutions driven attitude while representing the company's commitment to quality and service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business to business customer service, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Salesforce experience strongly preferred; other CRM experience considered.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details and order information clearly.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast moving environment.
