• Work alongside a collaborative leadership team committed to organizational growth Key Responsibilities for the Interim Controller: • Lead all day-to-day accounting operations for a complex multi-state nonprofit organization
• Ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and accurate financial reporting
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and strategic insights
• Oversee and mentor accounting staff while driving operational excellence
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations
• Complete ad hoc tasks & projects as requested Qualifications for the Interim Controller: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership experience
• Management experience leading accounting teams required
• Nonprofit experience required; Medicaid/IDD experience strongly preferred
• CPA or MBA preferred
