As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Tackle a steady flow of service requests with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and appliance troubleshooting
- Complete apartment turns, ensuring homes are move-in ready for new residents
- Perform preventative maintenance to help keep building systems operating efficiently
- Maintain the interior and exterior of the community in accordance with company standards and safety requirements
- Assist with seasonal responsibilities, grounds maintenance, and curb appeal
- Respond promptly to resident service requests while delivering outstanding customer service
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and the onsite office team to provide timely updates
Compensation & Incentives
- $1,200 Sign-On Bonus
- Base Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly
- On-Call Appreciation: $15/day while holding the on-call phone

- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Rotating on-call schedule (approximately every 3 weeks)
- Availability for weather-related and emergency maintenance events is required
- Schedule may adjust based on business needs
- Minimum 2 years of general maintenance or skilled trades experience
- Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting HVAC and plumbing systems
- Experience repairing appliances and completing general maintenance repairs
- Comfortable using smartphones, mobile work order applications, email, and Microsoft Teams
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to live within a reasonable distance to support on-call responsibilities
- EPA/CFC/HVAC certification preferred
