Payroll Specialist

Our client is looking to add a Payroll Specialist to their team.

Main Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

• Manage and process biweekly payroll for around 500 employees (hourly, salary, certified, and non-certified)
• The Payroll Specialist will use Excel to run reports, analyze payroll data, and process information exported from the accounting system
• The Payroll Specialist must ensure high accuracy in payroll processing, including attention to detail with taxes and quarterly filings
• Provide support to employees by responding to payroll-related questions and resolving pay issues

Preferred Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist:

• Experience with full-cycle payroll processing
• Public sector payroll experience is a huge plus!
• The Payroll Specialist must have strong attention to detail and great analytical skills

Salary is $60,000-70,000
